Tsunami Preparedness Campaign Calls
Since an annual national "Tsunami Preparedness Week" was discontinued by NOAA's National Weather Service in 2015, annual recognitions during the last week of March have changed to state/territory-led activities that are held at different times of the year, such as in April for Hawaii, October around "The Great Shakeout" for West Coast states, and remaining in March for Alaska.
Between 2014 and 2019, regular conference calls were facilitated by the NWS Headquarters Tsunami Program and partner states, territories, and Federal agencies where representativs shared information about tsunami preparedness campaign plans and activities.
This is a archival history of those calls.
