The National Weather Service Des Moines’ newsletter, the Weather Whisper, has been in publication since early 2007 and is normally published three time per year; in the Spring, Summer, and a Fall/Winter edition. The Weather Whisper was transitioned to blog format in 2015 in order to allow better organization and research of archived articles.
